Transition Consulting and Coaching

Cathy Posner is the founder/owner of Transition Consulting and Coaching.  After many years of working for other organizations and consulting on the side, Cathy decided to give consulting her full attention.  In 2007, with her 2-year-old in tow, she launched Transition Consulting and Coaching.  Through Transition Consulting and Coaching, Cathy provides career coaching, small business development, HR support and nonprofit consulting services.  She also works as a Senior Coach with Career Curve, providing outplacement and transition support to candidates, and as a Specialized Training Consultant with the Medina County Career Center Adult Education department.  Cathy is very active in her community and is on the board of Feeding Medina County, the Farmers Market Advisory Committee, the Medina Diversity Project, Kids First Medina and was past President of Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund.  In 2014, Cathy was honored as a Women of Professional Excellence through Women’s Network of Northeast Ohio and was honored as a 2018 Women of Our Community award recipient and Athena Award nominee.

Cathy especially enjoys helping individuals and organizations connect with the things they are good at, and supporting each to develop those gifts.
