Become a more effective leader by understanding how your personality type can impact your supervisory performance and how to leverage your unique leadership strengths to become a more effective leader.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn the premise of strengths based leadership and how it effects employee engagement
  • Understand how to focus on strengths, not weaknesses, and what your strengths can do for you as a leader
  • Learn to empower others to lead based on their strengths
  • Understand how communication is effected by your personality type
  • Understand how unconscious bias can challenge your supervisory role

*Participants are asked to take the Myers Briggs personality test and StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment by March 15. Information for assessments:

  • Participants may submit past assessment results, if available
  • Myers Briggs is available here at no cost.
  • Strength Based Leadership: Great Leaders, Teams and Why People Follow by Tom Rath and Barry Conchie- the code to take the assessment is in the book. Cost is approximately $20 on Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
