Women’s Network is pleased to present a women’s leadership summit focused on gender equity, unconscious bias and socialization, and how to self-advocate as a woman in the workplace. The 2018 Women’s Leadership Summit will feature keynote speaker, Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to run the Boston Marathon. The results of the 18-month Gender Equity & Female Leadership Study on gender equity and women’s leadership in Summit County will be unveiled and discussed. A forum-style session will allow you as community constituents and leaders to address how we can collectively create change for women, both in the workplace and in our society as a whole.
The Annual Meeting is a time for reflecting on the progress of the prior year and mapping out the future goals of the Women’s Network. This event features many new members and community leaders. Additionally, the Women’s Network honors our Members of the Year. This acknowledges members whose attitude and actions embrace the mission of the organization. These women have had an impact in moving the organization forward, always seeking to make the organization better in order to fulfill its vision of supporting professional women in their development.
